USCG Renewals
Is it time to renew?
Renewal notices are mailed to the address on your Certificate of Documentation, 30-60 days prior to the expiration date. Official notices come directly from the United States Coast Guard and look like the example to the right.
If you are not 100% sure if you received the correct notice, please phone our office or email a copy of the document and we can confirm the authenticity of the notice.
Renewals can be completed online here, where you will be directed to sign in with your Pay.gov login.
Please Note:
Renewal requests received up to 30 days after the expiration date of the COD will be considered ‘late’ and will require payment of a $5.00 late fee, in addition to any other application fees.
Renewal requests received 31 days or more after the expiration date of the COD will be considered ‘expired’ and will require reinstatement.
If you did not receive a renewal notice in the mail, you can print a copy here.
Instructions and further information can be found here.
